Biography
Trusha is a doctoral research scholar at the Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Her PhD research focusses on integrating therapeutic modules for coercive disruptive behaviour in paediatric OCD. She is a licensed clinical psychologist, having received her MPhil in Clinical Psychology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). Her research interests include child and adolescent mental health, psychological assessments, and psychotherapeutic interventions. She has worked most recently as a Drug Treatment Centre (DTC) co-ordinator at the Drug De-Addiction Programme (MoHFW).
Her latest work explores the complexities of addiction across the lifespan, spanning from childhood to adulthood, with a specific focus on substance addiction and digital addiction. She is also working on developing unique and novel therapeutic measures for the clinical population. She has been the recipient of Best Poster Award at the 8th Asian CBT Congress (2024). She was selected for the Early Career Professional Programme and was a recipient of the Bursary Award at the International Association for Women’s Mental Health (IAWMH) 2025.
