Psychological Testing and Assessments
This course will introduce students to developing and conducting various psychometric assessment procedures on a range of cognitive domains previously introduced in ‘Cognitive Neurosciences’. The course will cover the entire psychometric testing process, starting from the basics of test construction, standardization, and culturally-appropriate adaptation, procedures of norms, as well as reliability and validity, to the skills of conducting the test and subsequent analysis of the results. Students will also be equipped to conduct certain psychological tests and assessments such as IQ tests, personality tests, cognitive tests among others, and will be trained in standardised report writing practices.
