About the campus
The Azim Premji University, Ranchi is being established under the Azim Premji University Act, 2022 enacted by the Government of Jharkhand.
Our campus is located in Itki, on the outskirts of Ranchi. Spread over 150 acres, the University will house a hospital as well a medical college as part of its campus. The construction will be phased over a five to seven year period. The first phase of the construction is expected to be completed by July 2026.
It will be a fully sustainable campus with extensive facilities for rainwater harvesting, water treatment, local species-based landscaping, and sustainable design elements in the future.
We will be offering residential facilities for students, members of our University and guests.
The campus will be a state-of-the-art facility with extensive facilities for academics, sports, art, crafts and other activities.
