At Azim Premji University, in our BSc in Psychology programme, our faculty members integrate disciplinary outlooks to enable graduates to draw insights from diverse fields such as biology, psychiatry, neuroscience, computer science, anthropology, and philosophy. We offer holistic training in screening, experiments, and programming, ensuring students are well-versed in both theoretical and practical aspects of psychology.
We incorporate innovative pedagogical approaches, including the use of multimedia resources, games, flipped classrooms, lab assessments, and experiments. These methods are designed to engage students actively and provide them with a comprehensive learning experience.

Psychology and cognitive science lab
We have a state-of-the-art lab with facilities to enable students to learn skills required for the current world. These include 128-channel Electroencephalography (EEG), 16-channel psychophysiological recording systems, eye-tracking and cutting-edge software to run basic and advanced experiments.
We curate a variety of classical and contemporary standardised psychological tests and assessment tools with a wide range of cognitive, neuropsychological, clinical, and personality tests.
Psychology club
Our student-led Psychology Club organises several events every semester to foster a supportive student community and raise awareness about mental health. From panel discussions and seminars to fun, interactive events like game nights and movie screenings, there’s a lot to look forward to! Oasis is a therapeutic space for students to take a step back and relax. The club also collaborates with NGOs and other committees of the University to host fundraisers by selling items like handmade bookmarks, paperweights, and jewellery.
