Biography
Meryl Garcia is a consultant with Azim Premji University’s research centre, where she works with faculty members to identify and share stories emerging from research across the social sciences. She is interested in how research can be communicated beyond academic spaces and engaged with by wider communities.
Meryl holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Aloysius College and studied journalism at the Asian College of Journalism (ACJ), Chennai. She has over a decade of experience working across journalism and communications.
Prior to joining the University, she worked in external and leadership communications for a multinational healthcare organisation. She is the author of Unni’s Wish, a children’s STEM book published by Pratham Books.
