Academic Associate – Certificate Programme in School Leadership

We invite applications for the role of Academic Associate for the Certificate Programme in School Leadership.

The Certificate Programme in School Leadership is designed for school leaders, administrators, and educators who are interested in strengthening leadership practices within schools. The programme focuses on developing capacities in instructional leadership, school improvement, collaboration with teachers and communities, and building inclusive and responsive school cultures.

This is a 2‑year full-time position.

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting Courses

  • Observe programme sessions and document key insights and processes 
  • Support course faculty with preparation of materials and coordination of sessions 
  • Conduct support sessions or discussion groups for participants where required 

2. Course Content Creation and Management

  • Identify and curate relevant research-based learning resources such as articles, videos, podcasts, and case studies 
  • Support asynchronous learning by developing quizzes, discussion prompts, reflection activities, and lesson plans 
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and coordinate with participants regarding course requirements 
  • Explore and integrate appropriate educational technologies to enhance engagement in online and blended learning environments 

3. Research

  • Engage with literature related to school leadership, educational leadership, and school improvement 
  • Conduct secondary research related to programme themes 
  • Design and implement short surveys or interviews with participants or stakeholders and assist in analysing and reporting findings 

4. Communication

  • Ensure timely communication with programme participants and other stakeholders 
  • Coordinate with faculty, guest speakers, and partner organisations 
  • Follow up with stakeholders as needed to support programme activities 

5. Project Management and Course/​Event Management

  • Develop timelines and track programme-related tasks to ensure timely completion 
  • Support the organisation of programme events such as face-to-face sessions, school visits, workshops, and webinars 
  • Coordinate logistics, communication, and documentation for programme activities 
  • Master’s degree in Education/​Educational Leadership/​School Leadership/​Psychology /​Human Development/​Public Policy/​related fields 
  • Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in education, such as teaching, school leadership support, teacher education, or working with adult learners 
  • Interest in school leadership, educational change, and teacher development 
  • Experience using EdTech tools or LMS platforms would be desirable 
  • Familiarity with English and Hindi language
