Biography
Zico Dasgupta teaches economics, and his interest lies in the area of macroeconomics. His research focuses on issues of growth and distribution, open economy macroeconomics, financial systems and macroeconomic policies. Some of his ongoing research projects include issues of export-led growth, classification growth regimes and aspects of financial fragility. He holds a PhD in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.
His research has been published in various edited books and journals like Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, Review of Keynesian Economics, PSL Quarterly Review, and Economic and Political Weekly. He is presently involved with the DevMac research network in India.
