As a Student Affairs coordinator, you will be responsible for coordination and administration of Student Affairs activities, with a strong focus on student engagement, campus events, communications, and operational support.
We are seeking well-organised, communicative, and student-focused professional who can effectively manage multiple operational and engagement activities in a dynamic campus environment.
Responsibilities:
- Events & Student Engagement: Coordinate major campus events, orientation, cultural and sports activities, workshops, , and student-led programmes. Support the formation, functioning, and continuity of student clubs and committees.
- Communication & Digital Platforms: Manage email communications, respond to student queries, disseminate information across relevant channels, maintain the Student Affairs website, and develop social media posts, posters, email templates, brochures, and newsletters.
- Financial & Administrative Coordination: Prepare event budgets, raise fund requests, track expenditure, process reimbursements and advances, and maintain accurate and transparent financial records.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Work closely with students, faculty, student affairs committees, external facilitators, artists, resource persons, and vendors. Coordinate contracts, approvals, documentation, and payments and liaise with internal teams.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of programmes, events, clubs, committees, and financial transactions; prepare periodic reports and activity summaries.
- Student Experience & Inclusion: Collect and respond to student feedback, promote accessible and inclusive communication and engagement, and effectively manage multiple operational requirements, particularly during events.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree
- Strong planning, prioritisation, multitasking, and event-coordination abilities, including the capacity to work calmly under pressure.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, expenditure tracking, reimbursements, financial documentation, and routine administrative processes, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Working knowledge of Excel/spreadsheets, Canva or similar design tools, website content management, social media, and other digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, manage competing priorities, and consistently handle routine operational responsibilities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and processes.
- Genuine interest in working closely with students and contributing to an inclusive, active, and engaging campus environment.
