Faculty Positions in Biology — Cell, Molecular Biology and Genetics
We invite applications for faculty positions in Biology — Cell, Molecular Biology and Genetics for the undergraduate programme.
We seek candidates who can teach a broad range of core and elective courses in the fields of specialisations including but not limited to:
- Cell and Molecular Biology
- Genetics
- Biochemistry with a strong laboratory focus
In addition to teaching in our programmes, we offers faculty an enriching and fulfilling institution building experience encompassing interdisciplinary programme design, setting up and implementation of key institutional processes, culture building, and participation in various institutional bodies. The University encourages and offers support to faculty members for pursuing their own research.
- Expertise and experience in at least one of the areas listed above.
- An advanced degree in relevant fields.
- Candidates with 2 – 5 years of post-doctoral experience with research in areas of plant physiology, development and genetics are encouraged to apply.
- A strong interest in undergraduate education and commitment to teaching a diverse group of students.
- Identify with the purpose of the University, contribute to the design, development and delivery of courses of interest and expertise across the undergraduate programme.
