Faculty positions in Media Production
We invite applications for faculty positions in Media Production for our Undergraduate Programme.
The Media and Journalism programme combines the energy and charge of a diverse community of students drawn from all over the country. Our students tend to have a wide variety of social backgrounds and disciplinary training. The programme emphasises historicising and contextualising audio visual and digital media practice alongside teaching technique and craft.
- Master’s degree in media or its equivalent
- Significant experience in the field of media production combined with an interest in the field of media education.
- A solid background in sound, cinematography, technical post-production and digital media production.
- Knowledge of industry standard equipment and software to enable and guide students in their training in film and new media.
- Ability to design and teach courses in videography, sound media, editing, graphic design, digital media and multimedia production.
- Orientation towards program development and collaborative work
- Willingness to engage with a socially diverse student cohort
