Faculty Positions in Ecology and Development
We invite applications for faculty positions in environment, ecology and climate change.
The university believes that development education, research and policy draw their strengths from academic studies as well as reflective on-the- ground practice. In that spirit, our faculty are drawn from both academia and the development sector and engage in collaborative teaching, research, public writing and policy work.
We are particularly interested in candidates with academic or practice experience in Environment, Ecology and Climate Change in rural or urban settings in the Indian context.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Demonstrated expertise and grounded experience in Indian rural or urban settings in environment, ecology and/ or climate change.
- Reflective mindset with strong critical thinking skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to engage with a very diverse and large student body.
- An advanced degree in relevant field is desirable for academics
- On-the-ground experience of at least ten years and postgraduate degree in any field for the role of a practitioner
