Faculty Positions in Bioinformatics/Structural Biology
We invite applications for faculty positions in Bioinformatics/Structural Biology for our undergraduate programme.
Azim Premji University, Bhopal, started operations in August 2023, offering postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. The first phase of campus construction is complete and the overall 50-acre campus with state-of-the-art academic and residential facilities will be ready over the next few years. We expect to grow to about 4000 students and 500 members over the next few years.
We are expanding our programme offerings and are inviting applications for full-time faculty positions. In addition to teaching in our programmes, we offer faculty an enriching and fulfilling institution building experience encompassing interdisciplinary programme design, development, and research opportunities, setting up and implementation of key institutional processes, culture building, and participation in various institutional bodies.
We are currently looking for candidates with a strong quantitative background in any of the following areas: Systems Biology, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Quantitative Biology /Computational Biology, Neuroscience.
- 7 to 8 years of work experience with an advanced degree in Biology or related fields
- Significant educational interests and experience in laboratory work, designing and creating lab experiments and modules and teaching laboratory-based courses will be an added advantage
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
