Azim Premji University, Bhopal started operations in August 2023, offering postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. The first phase of campus construction is complete and the overall 50-acre campus with state-of-the-art academic and residential facilities will be ready over the next few years. We expect to grow to about 4000 students and 500 members over the next few years.

The Translations Initiative at the University is focused on Azim Premji University’s vision of providing access for quality higher education to a large number of students belonging to diverse socio-economic backgrounds, particularly located in smaller towns and villages. We invite applicants who resonate with this purpose of the University and are keen to work with a team of Translators.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role are:

• Reviewing academic readings that are translated from English to Hindi
• Finalizing the Hindi translation of the academic readings to ensure readability and clarity of concepts
• Highlighting any gaps in translations, including accuracy of conceptual ideas
• Reviewing glossaries to ensure all relevant and required words and definitions are updated correctly and appropriately
