Data Analyst
We invite applications for the role of Data Analyst to support reporting, analyse data, and improve processes.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and identify relevant data sources (internal and external), and collect, validate and analyse data to support decision-making.
- Reframe strategic and operational questions into questions answerable through data analysis.
- Work with multiple university functions to understand reporting needs and analysis requirements.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
- Communicate analytical findings through clear visualisations, insights, and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve university processes and decision-making through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline with quantitative skills.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to understand operational needs and translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to quickly understand new domains, adopt new tools, and adapt to evolving institutional needs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and automation.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, Student Information Systems, or Learning Management Systems (LMS) is desirable.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools and exposure to SQL, Python or other scripting and automation tools is an advantage.
