Arjun Jayadev
Arjun Jayadev is a Professor of Economics and Director of the Centre for the Study of the Indian Economy at Azim Premji University (APU), Bengaluru. He was previously the Director at the School of Arts and Sciences there. He is a Senior Economist at the Institute for New Economic Thinking. He has also worked as an Associate Professor of Economics at University of Massachusetts (UMass), Boston, as a Fellow at Roosevelt Institute, New York, USA, and as a Research Fellow at the Columbia University Committee on Global Thought, New York. His research interests are economics & development, with focus across multiple areas such as, macroeconomics (especially issues of debt, balance sheets, the political economy of finance and central banking and macroeconomic policy choices), income distribution and inequality (classical approaches to distribution, and group based inequalities), intellectual property, and the economics of power. Maria Bach
Maria Bach is a junior lecturer and post-doctoral researcher at The University of Lausanne. She completed her PhD at King’s College London in International Political Economy on the first generation on modern Indian economists. She is the author of Relocating Development Economics: The first generation of modern Indian economists. She hosts and produces the History of Economic Thought Podcast, Ceteris Never Paribus. Before starting her PhD, Maria was a consultant at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris working on a project entitled New Approaches to Economic Challenges. N Ramagopal
Retired after working for 35 years as an economics teacher in Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamilnadu. His areas of interest include environmental economics, history of economic thought, and philosophy of economics.
Niranjan Rajadhyaksha
Niranjan Rajadhyaksha is Executive Director at Artha Global. His research interests include macroeconomics, political economy and economic history. Prior to this, he was the Research Director and a Senior Fellow at the IDFC Institute. He was also Executive Editor for Mint, a financial daily, where he managed the opinion section, wrote the daily editorials and the award-winning Cafe Economics column. He completed his PhD from the Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy and holds a BA and MA in Economics from Mumbai University. [Full Profile]
Srishti Yadav
Srishti Yadav is Assistant Professor in Economics at the School of Arts and Sciences, Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. She holds a PhD in Economics from the New School for Social Research, New York. She works in the fields of political economy and agrarian change, and is interested in the creative application of the Marxist political economy framework to the Indian socio-economic context.
