Azim Premji University, Bhopal, started operations in August 2023, offering postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. The first phase of campus construction is complete and the overall 50-acre campus with state-of-the-art academic and residential facilities will be ready over the next few years. We expect to grow to about 4000 students and 500 members over the next few years.

The members joining in this role will contribute to the courses in the undergraduate programme at the University in Bhopal. This is a 2‑year full-time position.

The work hours need to be flexible, as the expectation is out of classroom hours.

Responsibilities

As an Academic Associate for English, you will be:

• Working with faculty on two to three courses per semester in the English major.

• Holding small-group tutorial discussions with English undergraduate students outside class hours.

• Providing academic reading and writing support to English students.

• Organizing course-related seminars, interactive sessions and reading clubs for students, in consultation with faculty.

• Assisting in organizing events (such as conferences) of the English group.
