Assessment in the light of National Education Policy (NEP), 2020
A workshop for school leaders and teachers to craft meaningful classroom assessments (6th and 13th Sept 2025)

Assessment is at the core of formal education. The New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasises assessment to be diversified and suggests following competency-based assessment.
In this context, Azim Premji University, Bhopal plans to engage with the idea of assessment in the light of NEP 2020 and National Curricular Framework for School Education 2023 (NCFSE). Through this engagement we will explore how we can align learning outcomes with the indicators of competency-based assessment. We will also explore how we can design assessment questions based on Bloom’s taxonomy.
We invite school leaders and teachers associated with designing assessments.
We believe that through this engagement we would initiate a larger and deeper engagement around the practice of competency-based assessment.
