Azim Premji University, Bhopal invites grade XI and XII students for an exciting workshop designed to deepen their understanding of Biology and Physics through engaging hands-on activities.
The workshop is tailored to nurture curiosity and foster a practical understanding of scientific concepts.
The workshop aims to:
- Enhance Understanding: Help students develop a deeper, more nuanced understanding of key concepts in biology and physics.
- Gain Hands-On Experience: The practical experience with scientific techniques and concepts will help students gain insights into future academic and career pursuits.
- Critical Thinking Skills: Students have the opportunity to enhance their analytical and critical thinking skills through active learning and problem-solving exercises.
- Real-World Awareness: An appreciation of how scientific knowledge is applied in various industries and everyday life.
Participation in the workshop is free. A certificate of participation will be awarded on completion of the workshop.

Understanding photosynthesis as outlined in the textbook. The emphasis will be on a practical approach to examining photosynthesis and the variables involved.

Hands-on experience: Demonstration of photosynthesis and protein and carbohydrate test

Understanding how to appreciate microbial diversity and provide an outline for characterizing a given sample.

Hands-on activity with Bacterial Picasso, allowing them to explore and appreciate the diversity and vibrant colours.
