Jyoti is interested in understanding tissue culture in medicinally endangered and important plant species. Her research interests are in plant tissue culture and plant secondary metabolites. She has done internship programmes and summer training based on the plant tissue culture of plants.
Prior to joining the University, she was working as Lecturer teaching courses in Botany and Biotechnology for 11 years at Shree Ram College of Biotechnology, Jaipur, and Tagore Adarsh P G College, Jaipur. She has performed various curricular tasks such as organising workshops and guiding students on minor projects in the Field.
She has a Master’s degree in Botany and a PhD in Plant tissue culture (Biotechnology) from the University of Rajasthan.
She has taught plant tissue culture, cell biology, and ecology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
