We, at Azim Premji University, are happy to announce our very first short story contest for young writers in Kannada and English.

Every year, the contest will have a broad theme around which writers are invited to imagine their stories. This story can be realistic, fantastic, or anywhere in between.

In its first year, the writing contest will have two prizes, one for short fiction in English and the other for Kannada. Entering the world of writing is a daunting prospect for many writers, and we encourage young unpublished writers from across Karnataka to apply.
