The Growth, Structural Transformation and Distribution vertical is seeking to hire a Research Fellow who will assist on ongoing projects on various aspects of the Indian economy with a focus on the macroeconomy. 

Responsibilities:

Work with CSIE faculty members on Indian economic data to produce technical reports and papers.

 

  • Advance degree in Economics or Master’s with at least 5 years of experience in Macroeconomic data and policy analysis.
  • Knowledge of statistical software such as STATA or R is required. Familiarity with a programming language such as Python is a plus.
  • Experience working with macroeconomic as well as unit-level economic datasets.
  • Familiarity with the principal problems and the structure of the Indian economy.
