The project aims to track the government schemes in four States – Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka and Rajasthan, related to the entitlement benefits in diverse domains like livelihood, health, education etc. The project will involve collecting data on the outlay of resources and the outreach of these schemes to its beneficiaries. The data will be used to understand the existing gaps in delivery and access of entitlement benefits, across different states, which can help to focus on specific schemes in these geographical areas.

All work will be desk based, with no requirement of direct fieldwork or interactions.

Duration: 6 months (February – July 2022)

Role and Responsibilities

The scope of work will be 

• To collect and collate data on various Government schemes/​policies from various governmental and non-governmental data sources, mostly secondary sources
• To interpret the data and identify gaps in access
• Use quantitative and qualitative frameworks to organise and analyse the data
• Write regular analytical notes and documentation for reporting purpose
• Prepare State-wise reports
• To perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
