About the Session

Are you curious about how the media shapes society, public opinion, and the ways we understand the world? Do you find yourself drawn to powerful stories in newspapers, creative digital content, or media-led advocacy that sparks dialogue and change? The BA in Media and Communications at Azim Premji University offers a thoughtful, practice-rich, and socially engaged pathway for students who want to explore media in all its depth and possibility.

This interactive session will give you the opportunity to engage directly with the programme faculty. You will learn how the programme brings together conceptual courses in culture, communication, and society with hands-on training in writing, visual storytelling, audio and video production, editing, and digital media practices. We will walk you through the classroom experience, the laboratory infrastructure, and how students use these spaces to develop both critical and creative skills.

The session will also explore the wide range of future pathways this programme enables, whether you are interested in journalism, digital content creation, research, advocacy, communication for development, creative media industries, or higher studies in media and culture.
