The Game Play Sport Quiz returns for its second edition — this time at Christ University, Main Campus. The quiz is an extension of the conversations from the Game Play Sport show: how India understands game, play, and sport, and what those distinctions say about our culture and priorities. And what better way to carry those questions forward than through the thrill of a live quiz?

The quiz will journey across sporting landscapes both familiar and unexpected. Questions may take you from cricket grounds to Olympic podiums, from the tactics of a kabaddi formation to the elegance of a Wimbledon final. Along the way, it will also remind us of the cultural moments and stories that make sport more than just numbers or records.

This is very much in the spirit of the Game Play Sport show itself — hosted by Rahul De, Associate Professor, School of Arts and Sciences, Azim Premji University; Kailash Koushik, Assistant Professor, Department of Media Studies, Christ University; and Arvind Bharathi BN, Assistant Professor, School of Arts and Sciences, Azim Premji University. In the show, they explore what play means in the Indian context, why we participate, and sometimes, why we stop.

The quiz picks up these threads and turns them into a playful test, inviting young people to think, recall, and celebrate sport together.

Guiding participants through this mix of fact, memory, and play will be Quizmaster Kedar who  returns to the stage yet again to keep the quiz sharp, fair, and lively. 

So bring your teammate, bring your stories, and step into the arena — because this time, the game is yours to play.
