Biography
Bhaskar Gurramkonda is a faculty member in the Teacher Education Programme at the School of Sciences. He is committed to creating inclusive learning environments through a multilingual approach that promotes context-based, technology-integrated mathematics teaching. His pedagogical practices include gamifying learning and incorporating diverse forms of classroom assessment to support meaningful learning. He believes in lifelong learning and is guided by the principle that knowledge is constructed through interaction.
Prior to joining the university, he worked in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and various school setups. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctoral Degree from Central University of Kerala. His educational background include B.Sc.B.Ed. (PCM) and M.Sc. (Mathematics) from Regional Institute of Education (RIE-NCERT) Mysuru, M.Ed. from Central University of Kerala. Throughout his journey, being an awarded ICSSR Doctoral Fellow, he was keen in developing different applications, games, assessment modules for Mathematics (reflected in his website). He completed various courses and workshops in NPTEL, Coursera, Udemy, and Google related to Designing and using of Technology tools in Teaching and Learning, Gamification, SQL, R and SPSS.
