About the Rhodes Scholarship

The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully-funded postgraduate award which enables talented young people from around the world to study full-time at the University of Oxford. The Rhodes Scholarship is merit-based, with the purpose of developing public-spirited leaders, and to promote international understanding and peace through an international community of Scholars.  Read more about it here.

About Aniketa 

Aniketa graduated with a BA in History from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. He is interested in studying premodern Indian texts and the ways in which they have been interpreted and circulated, under the conditions of modernity, particularly through the axis of religion. He wants to explore the re-imagining of religion in South Asia over the course of the 18^th and 19^th centuries.
