Faculty positions in Conservation
We invite applications for faculty positions in Conservation. This position will be situated under the Biodiversity Conservation Occupational Minor (OM).
We invite applications from candidates with expertise in ecology, conservation biology and other related fields with some experience of managing fieldwork and field programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching undergraduate level courses, being involved in curriculum development, and student mentoring.
- You will have the opportunity to design and teach elective courses in your field of expertise.
- The University supports research and also encourages faculty members to engage with public education in the sciences.
- An advanced degree in Ecology, Conservation Biology and other related fields
- Experience in running field projects/working in conservation organisations is desirable
- A strong interest in undergraduate education and research
- Willingness to spend a few weeks in the field for coordinating field courses.
