T‑Ed Talks 4.0
From reflection to action: Teacher journeys of change
T‑Ed talks are a platform showcasing the inspiring journeys and transformative experiences of our fourth year BSc BEd students from their Induction into Teaching (IiT) field practice. Over the course of 14-week teaching internship at schools across seven locations in five States, these aspiring educators refined their teaching skills and gained a deeper understanding of professional practice.
This event offers the opportunity for student-teachers to share their learning from teaching in school classrooms during the internships. Through six engaging presentations, they will explore crucial themes like teaching students who are below the grade level of FLN standards, community engagement through project work, self-reflection as teachers that led to a change in pedagogical strategies, and self-empowerment resulting from peer support. These discussions weave together content, pedagogy, school interactions, and behind-the-scenes preparation that defines the teaching profession.
Join us for a rich exploration of the art and science of teaching, where students share practical insights, self-discovered strategies, and the transformative experiences that have shaped their journeys.
