Managing Change: Transforming Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning in Social Sector Organisations
Details
About the session
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) is increasingly being recognised as a core function of a social sector organisation. This especially holds true when an organisation aims to scale up and hence, needs strong internal systems in place. This means that in addition to appreciating and understanding the principles of MEL, organisations need to understand the implications (benefits and challenges) of grounding MEL in their work.
This webinar presents an opportunity to hear and learn from the experiences of senior practitioners from the development sector. The speakers are in the process of implementing initiatives to strengthen systems and processes around MEL in their respective organisations. They will share their motivations, initiatives undertaken and challenges faced and overcome.
Who should attend?
The webinar will be relevant for development practitioners working in any thematic area, who have an interest in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning in an organisational setup. The practitioners could be part of grassroots organisations as well as CSR / donor teams.
Why attend?
The speakers are from organisations that work across diverse thematic verticals and across the spectrum of implementation and grant-making. We invite development practitioners (implementers and donors) to join this webinar and share their own experience with MEL and the related concerns and reflections.
This webinar is open to all.
