Pratibha Nandakumar, Kannada poet, will speak about P Lankesh, a Kannada writer and journalist of eminence, on Friday, 24 January 2025. In her talk, Pratibha will shed light on Lankesh’s contribution to Karnataka’s cultural and literary world, and share her association with both U R Ananthamurthy and Lankesh. 

The talk will be in Kannada.

A snippet of Dr U R Ananthamurthy’s video lecture on P Lankesh will be played, along with a rendering of Lankesh’s poem at the event. 

Members of Lankesh’s family, Indira Lankesh, an author and publisher, and Kavitha Lankesh, a film director, will grace the occasion.
