This is part of ‘Samskruti Sambhrama’ programme series, conceived to celebrate the rich cultural and literary traditions of Karnataka.
Sri T N Seetharam, Film and Television Serial Director and Actor, Bengaluru, will inaugurate an exhibition of portraits of renowned Kannada writers on Friday, 10 Jan 2025.
The photo exhibition will be on display till Friday, 17 Jan 2025.
This will be followed by a conversation on the contribution of Dr Gopalakrishna Adiga, one of the acclaimed Kannada poets. Dr S R Vijayashankar, Critic, Bengaluru, and Sri H Dandappa, Critic, Bengaluru, will speak on ‘Infinite facets of Adiga’s Poetry: A Contemplation’.
The event will also feature the rendering of Adiga’s poem, and the playing of a short snippet of Dr U R Ananthamurthy’s talk on Adiga.
