The 13^th edition of Kathavana, our annual children’s literature festival, will be held on January 23 and 24, 2025. The theme for the current year is ​‘Enabling Children to Write Through Creative Activities’. 

The festival will feature a Children’s Mela in the University’s Bengaluru campus on Thursday, 23 Jan 2025. More than 500 children from our neighbouring schools are participating in the Mela. 

This is followed by a one-day workshop for about 30 District Institute members on Friday, 24 Jan 2025. These resource persons will take their learnings back and, in turn, design activities for children in their respective work locations.

We invite our members to attend as many sessions as possible.
