ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಭವಿ ಅಥವಾ ಉದಯೋನ್ಮುಖ ಬರಹಗಾರರಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಪ್ರಕಾರದ ಕಥೆ, ಕವಿತೆ, ನಾಟಕ, ಜೀವನಚರಿತ್ರೆ, ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಕಥನ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾದಂಬರಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಲ ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. 

Children’s literature plays a critical role in fostering the language, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children. We invite emerging and experienced writers to share their creations for children in Kannada through stories, poems, plays, biographies, travelogues, and novels. 

We aim to build and share a strong repository of children’s literature in Kannada through this process. This Fellowship is an integral part of Kathavana, Azim Premji University’s annual bilingual children’s literature festival, which focuses on bringing children’s literature into classrooms.

ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಭಾಷಿಕ, ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಜ್ಞಾನಾತ್ಮಕ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಅಜೀಂ ಪ್ರೇಮ್‌ಜಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಭವಿ ಅಥವಾ ಉದಯೋನ್ಮುಖ ಬರಹಗಾರರಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಪ್ರಕಾರದ ಕಥೆ, ಕವಿತೆ, ನಾಟಕ, ಜೀವನಚರಿತ್ರೆ, ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಕಥನ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾದಂಬರಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಲ ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. 

ಈ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯುತ ಕಣಜವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಇದು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶಾಲಾ ತರಗತಿಗೆ ತಂದು, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಾಭಿರುಚಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಅಜೀಂ ಪ್ರೇಮ್‌ಜಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದ್ವಿಭಾಷಾ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಕಥಾವನದ ಮುಂದುವರಿದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ.

Process

• Interested authors may submit a proposal with one writing sample along with other details. This will be followed by a screening process by distinguished jury members who will also guide and support shortlisted writers to refine their manuscripts through workshops before finalising them for publication.
• Individuals invited to participate in the workshops will be extended travel allowance and accommodation facilities. 
• Interested authors may fill out the application form and submit a sample of their original Kannada writing or a detailed summary (up to 1,000 words in Unicode). 

ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ 

• ಆಸಕ್ತ ಬರಹಗಾರರು ಒಂದು ಬರಹದ ಮಾದರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ವಿವರಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.  ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಹಗಾರರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಕೃತಿಯ ಮಾದರಿ ಅಥವಾ ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಸಾರಾಂಶವನ್ನು ತಜ್ಞ ಬರಹಗಾರರನ್ನೊಳಗೊಂಡ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ತಂಡವು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತದ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.
• ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಭತ್ಯೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಸತಿ ಸೌಕರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
• ಆಸಕ್ತ ಬರಹಗಾರರು ಈಲಿಂಕ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಬರಹದ ಮಾದರಿ ಅಥವಾ ವಿಸ್ತೃತ ಸಾರಾಂಶವನ್ನು (1000 ಶಬ್ದಗಳವರೆಗೆ, ಯೂನಿಕೋಡ್) ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.
