About the event

 Azim Premji University, in collaboration with Sharanbasaveshwar College of Education, Kalaburagi and Govt College of Teacher Education, Kalaburagi, is organising a one-day deliberation cum workshop to build awareness about ​‘Anuvada Sampada’, the University’s free open access digital repository of academic resources translated from English to Indian languages. The event, to be held in Kalaburagi on 27 Nov 2025, is also aimed at encouraging the use of quality academic resources. 

Prof. R K Hudagi, retired English professor will deliver the keynote address on Primary and Secondary Education: Challenges and opportunities. The event will be inaugurated by Dr Dakshayani S Appa, Chancellor, Sharanabasava University, Kalaburagi, and presided over by Sri Vijay Kumar G M, Principal, College of Teacher Education, Kalaburagi.

The day-long event intends to familiarise student teachers and teacher educators on the range of resources available on the ​‘Anuvada Sampada’ (https://​anu​vadasam​pa​da​.azim​premji​u​ni​ver​si​ty​.edu​.in/) platform and enable them to mine, use, and reuse these materials.  Resource persons will share insights on various disciplines, including science, mathematics, humanities, and social sciences, to help about 350 participants identify materials relevant to their professional development and classroom application.

 Anuvada Sampada addresses the shortage of academic content in Indian languages and aims to make knowledge more accessible and inclusive. The initiative supports deeper engagement with academic ideas and promotes original thinking and discourse in Hindi and Kannada.
