The Social Enterprise Cell of Azim Premji University invites you to be part of Social Enterprise Mela (SEM) 2023, an event dedicated to social enterprises.

SEM is conceptualised as a forum for budding social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, social change veterans, incubators, and students to come together to share knowledge, awareness, interest, and intent to pursue entrepreneurship in the social sector. 

We intend to provide networking opportunities for social entrepreneurs and also to expose our students to the world of Social enterprises.

Highlights of the Mela

• 10+ promising social enterprises from the education, food, and rural development sector across India to showcase their solutions and share their experience and insights with students of Azim Premji universities and other universities/​colleges around Bengaluru.

• Two-panel discussions, one on starting and sustaining a social venture and another on innovation and incubation of social enterprises for public health. 

• Stalls by students of Azim Premji university and local self-help groups to showcase and sell their Products.

• Book launch of ​“Scaling technology innovations in healthcare: A handbook for social Enterprises. by Author, Anil Misquith, Alumni of Azim Premji University.

• Launch of the 7^th National Social Enterprise Idea Challenge.
