While the semester is going to end soon and all are swamped with assignments and academics, it would be great to take some time out for ourselves and watch a film and spend some quality time with our peers, discussing the same.
Celluloid Club, in collaboration with Kannada Kaliyona Club, is organising a film screening followed by a discussion.
Name of the film: Kantara
Plot: It involves a culture of kambala and bhoota kola. A human and nature conflict where Shiva is a rebel who defends his village and nature. A death leads to a war between the villagers and the evil forces. Will they be able to regain peace in the village?
