The English group presents a week-long workshop that is open to a select group of 10 students only.

Students will come to the workshop with the first draft of a completed story. This will be workshopped intensively. Students are required to attend all days of the workshop. Upon successful completion of the workshop, students will receive a certificate.
Students can avail of on-campus housing for the duration of the workshop.

About the author

Devika Rege was born and raised in Pune. Her debut novel will be published by Fourth Estate, HarperCollins India, in 2023. Excerpts from the novel have earned fellowships at Yaddo and the MacDowell Colony. 

She holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts (Fiction) from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where she was a Maytag Fellow. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in the Portside Review (Perth), Asia Literary Review, Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, The North (UK), and Penguin First Proof Volume 6.
