Laboratory Techniques in Cognitive Sciences

In light of the increased role of laboratory techniques in psychology, a unified course to train students in an end-to-end manner is envisioned. This course is designed to enable students to design and implement basic experimental protocols, by providing the required training in three modules: stimulation (software and instruments), non-invasive recording tools, and analysis. The stimulation module involves designing computer-based behavioral experiments using Psychopy. The non-invasive recording module trains students to record behavioral and physiological (ECG, EMG, EEG, GSR) responses. The analysis module trains students to perform initial pre-processing techniques to make sense of the data recorded in the previous module
