We believe that nobody should be denied admissions because of financial constraints. We offer extensive scholarships covering tuition fees and accommodation.
Scholarships
Our scholarships are based on family income
- Students with an annual family income of less than 15 lakhs are eligible for different levels of scholarships.
- Scholarships are for tuition and accommodation.
Financial assistance process
If you need financial support, you will need to fill in a form applying for financial assistance. The University reserves the right to award or reject financial assistance and its decision will be final and binding.
- You will need to fill in an application form providing details of income, including salary, pension, rent, agriculture, business, investments, commission or other sources of income.
- You have to upload supporting documents in the financial assistance form. We do not consider delayed submissions, so do prepare for the documentation required.
- We will conduct our own verification and due diligence of your documents and reserve the right to make a final decision that is non-negotiable.
Types of scholarship
We offer different types of scholarship. Remember, fees are divided into categories of tuition and accommodation.
- A full scholarship including a full waiver of tuition and accommodation fees
- You will have to pay charges for food at actuals.
- In exceptional circumstances, we do offer scholarships for food.
- A partial waiver of tuition and accommodation fees.
Insurance
We offer group insurance that includes life, hospitalisation, and accident insurance, without additional charges.

You will find below the fee structure for the undergraduate programmes of the upcoming batch of 2023, indicating waiver as per family income brackets.

- The overall programme fees (including tuition and accommodation charges) for the 4‑year degree is INR 11,88,000
- You will spend approximately INR 5000 – 6000 for food per month.
- 100% scholarship, if the annual family income is less than 4 lakhs.
Refund Policy
We will process the refund in line with the slab system recommended by UGC.
- The slab system as per the guidelines is given below.
- The calculation will be based on the formally notified last date of admission for each round. For the UG Round 1, the formally notified last date of admission will be 15 May 2023.

* In case of Point 1, an amount not more than 5% of the fees paid by the student, subject to a maximum of Rs. 5,000/- will be deducted as processing charges from the refundable amount.
Note: If UGC revises the refund policy for 2023 later this year, we will adhere to the revised policy.

- Accommodation includes charges for internet connectivity and other facilities.
- You will be covered under the student insurance scheme at no additional cost.
- You will have to bear all out of pocket personal expenses.
- Fees are paid in the beginning of each semester in July and January of each year.
- You may incur expenses of upto INR 60,000 approximately over a period of three years for books, field trips and other academic expenses.

If you are applying for financial assistance, you need to submit all mandatory documents at the time of the interview.
- We will not consider delayed applications or incomplete applications.
- Start collecting the documentation you will need as soon as you apply.
- We do not consider applications for financial support once you have joined the programme.
- Eligibility does not guarantee scholarships.
- We conduct our own due diligence and verification.
- We reserve the right to award or deny scholarships and our decision is final and non-negotiable.
Here is a list of the mandatory documents you need for your application.
Income Tax Payer
If your parent or guardian is an income tax payer (whether salaried or self-employed), they need to make available the following:
- Three-years of Income Tax Returns.
- Audited Profit and Loss account statement (only if you are self-employed).
- Bank passbook with one year’s worth of transactions.
Non-Income Tax Payer
If your parent or guardian is not an Income Tax Payer, they need to make available the following:
- Income certificate issued by an appropriate government authority.
- Bank passbook showing one year’s transactions.
Additional documents
Here are the additional documents that can help the verification process. These are not mandatory.
- BPL Card (where applicable).
- Pension order or bank statement showing pension amount credited.
- Latest salary slip of salaried members of family (parents or guardians).
- Form 16 issued by the employer of the salaried member of your family (parents or guardians).
- Form 16A issued by any entity providing details of income from profession.
- A certificate from school of study with respect to school fees.
- Proof of scholarship awarded for prior study (Certificate, letter, etc.)
- Receipt of your and your sibling’s fees paid.
- Proof of scholarship awarded for prior study as certificate or letter.
- Audited Profit and Loss account statement for 3 years if self-employed.
After we verify these documents, we may ask you for other documentation on a case to case basis. We conduct an independent validation and background verification to ensure that our scholarships are given to deserving candidates. The decision we make about this is final and binding.
If we find any documentation to be incorrect or falsified, we reserve the right to withdraw the offer of admission.
