Applications for the first round are now closed. The applications for the second round will start by January 2024.

Round 2 admission dates will be announced later. Candidates can now pre-register for the Round‑2 Admissions by visiting this page.
The main application form for the second round will be available in January 2024 and the selection process will be held in April-May 2024.
Selection Process
Step 1 — Entrance test
National entrance test will be conducted at various test centres across the country. This will be a computer-based assessment. We will send the admit card with the date, time and other details of the examination, a week before the entrance test.
Entrance Test Structure
The structure of the National Entrance Test is given below. Total duration of the test is 3 hours.

Reading comprehension [20 MCQs] | English comprehension passages with MCQs and Analytical comprehension passages with MCQs. This is common for all majors. No negative marking |
Quantitative reasoning [20 MCQs] | Quantitative reasoning questions. This is common for all majors. There is negative marking. No negative marking |
Subject specific questions [5 MCQs] | The MCQs will be related to the domain you applied for (first preference). Social studies domain for BA Honours in Economics / Social Studies Humanities domain for BA Honours in English / History / Philosophy Science domain for BSc Honours in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Biology / Environmental Science and Sustainability Science domain for BSc BEd in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Biology and Education No negative marking |

If you are shortlisted, you will have a personal interview. You will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your interview.
The interviews can be either online or in person. The details of your interview will be sent to you via email.
