Certificate Programme on Livelihood Policy
Introduction
Often income enhancement is the key for all the LH related programmes. However, the policies on livelihood are often formed independently in specific policy domains like – income under economic policies, entitlements under social protection policies, labour under the employment policies. Thus, the need is to develop a political economic approach to livelihood policies. The courses in the certificate help to get a better understanding of the role of State and Centre in shaping the livelihood programmes and supporting certain sections of people.
