Biography
Siva Paul is a library and information science professional, currently working with the Knowledge Resource Centre at the university.
Siva holds an integrated master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Gour Banga, Malda, West Bengal, having achieved the highest academic distinction in his cohort. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA). He has also qualified UGC-NET (University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test) for Assistant Professor in Library and Information Science.
Siva has a strong grounding in both traditional and digital librarianship. His work spans a broad spectrum from library resource procurement and vendor coordination to digital repository management, cataloguing, reference services, and user engagement. He is experienced in managing periodical subscriptions, archival systems, and institutional repositories, and provides technical and user support for a range of library services.
