Biography

Shibani is a part of Conversations: Centre for Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing.

She has always found the work of counselling, social development agencies, and NGOs that work for mental health, intriguing. She has worked with the young adult population where she held group sessions and acted as a facilitator on mental health and interventions for women from rural and semi-urban populations. 

She has also worked in Sangath, Bhopal, a mental health research-based NGO, in conducting qualitative research around severe mental illnesses, like Schizophrenia. She has experience with various organisations in varied areas of work like content creation, mental health in the public health arena, mental health of young adults, human resources as well as employee health. 

She has a degree in MSc Psychology with an inclination towards social and clinical aspects of the subject, from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Before that, she did her Graduation in Bachelor of Science from Banaras Hindu University in Zoology, Chemistry, and Psychology, with Honours in Psychology.
