Sharmistha works at the intersection of people, processes, and purpose —She is currently leading the admissions operations team for the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma and Certificate programmes at the University.

Her association with the University spans nearly a decade across multiple roles.

She has a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s in human resource from Kolkata; and with a total of 12 years’ experience across the IT and Education sector.  She continues to add value in building inclusive and efficient systems that align with the University’s mission of equity and access in higher education.

Beyond work, Sharmistha enjoys travelling and hiking, activities that help her stay curious, adaptable, and open to new perspectives; and most of all, her unmatched adoration for football and Lionel Messi keeps her glued to the sport.
