Pintoo Kumar is a higher education professional with more than 16 years of experience in admissions management, academic administration, student recruitment, and institutional operations. Throughout his career, he has contributed to several of India’s leading educational institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), XLRI Jamshedpur, and prominent universities, and has developed extensive expertise in admissions strategy, stakeholder engagement, and learner-centric administration.

He has managed admissions across undergraduate, postgraduate, executive, and doctoral programmes and coordinated large-scale student selection and recruitment. He has played a key role in strengthening institutional outreach initiatives, supporting international admissions efforts, and contributing to the Government of India’s Study in India programme. His work has also included the successful coordination of the Common Admission Process (CAP) and the implementation of efficient, transparent, and scalable admissions frameworks. 

Recognised for his operational excellence and strategic approach to higher education administration, he leverages data-driven decision-making and effective stakeholder management to strengthen institutional effectiveness and enhance student engagement. His expertise spans admissions operations, academic coordination, student recruitment, process optimisation, and institutional relationship management.

He holds an MBA in Marketing from Srusti Academy of Management (SAM), Bhubaneswar, and remains committed to advancing educational access, student success, and the global visibility of Indian higher education.
