Biography
Nimisha is a part of the Academic Resource Centre in Bhopal.
She has an MSc in Linguistics from the University of Edinburgh, UK. Her dissertation compared phonological patterns in Hindi scripted and unscripted speech. She also has an MA in English from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a BA (Research) degree in English and Communications from Shiv Nadar University.
Prior to her current position at the University, she worked with non-profit institutions in the field of education, developing curriculum for both village schools and university students. She has also worked as a Senior Administrator with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS) at the University of Edinburgh.
Currently, she is researching the implications of the proliferation of AI in language classrooms as well as working on a paper looking at second language assimilation in immigrant populations.
