Biography

Mugilan R is a member at Azim Premji University. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) specialising in Youth and Community Development from Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), alongside a BSc in Physics and an ongoing MBA in Human Resource Management. Prior to joining the university, Mugilan worked as an Executive in CSR at UNO MINDA, overseeing multi-centre community development projects across South India, and served as Senior Co-Worker and Project in charge at SOS Children’s Villages India. 

His core competencies include project management, humanitarian response, community mobilisation, and environmental conservation, with a strong commitment to public service and social policy execution.
