Biography

Taslim has over five years of experience across the education and rural development sectors. He designs workshops and prepares academic modules on data literacy, statistical visualisation, and quantitative reasoning for higher education students across disciplines, in collaboration with faculty. He supports students in collecting field-level data, analysing it, and presenting insights using tools such as Excel, Stata, and SPSS, with a strong focus on the ethical use of data and AI-enabled tools in academic writing.

He has taught mathematical physics to higher secondary students through EdTech platforms and schools, where he developed interactive lesson plans, assessments, and feedback-driven learning systems. His work focuses on identifying foundational gaps in students’ quantitative understanding and interpretational skills, leading him to develop simplified, need-based analytical learning models and curriculum designs.

In the rural development sector, he worked for two years on data-driven livelihood interventions, including community institution building and farmer group initiatives in horticulture and organic cotton farming in the marginalised tribal region of Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with NABARD and organisations such as WWF and Axis Bank Foundation.

He holds an integrated bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering physics from IIT (BHU), Varanasi. He enjoys writing poetry, creative and copywriting, exploring diverse food and cultures.
