Hitaishi is a part of the Translations Initiative at the University.

She has a Master’s degree in Computer Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, both from Nagpur University, Maharashtra. 

She has earlier worked as a software developer with Adroit IT Services in Nagpur, Maharashtra.

She enjoys cooking and listening to music.
