Biography
Vamshi is keen on creating high-performance teams using knowledge from sports coaching, sports science, and sports education fields. He was an Assistant Coach for the Ultimate Open’s Team, which participated in the Asia Oceanic Ultimate and Guts Championships (AOUGC).
In the past, he has worked in the field of sports for development, using ultimate frisbee to teach life skills to children.
He is passionate about education and has previously worked with Azim Premji University on a project titled “Interactive Data Visualisation using National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO) and District Information System for Education (DISE) data.” He analysed various socio-economic factors and their relation to educational participation, expenditure, and achievement.
He holds a master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Physiology from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab and a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Education from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru.
